Over the years yoga has become a part of my daily routine, like essential oxygen for my body and soul. Even a day without any practice is immediately felt on my mind. I love the dedication and a long-term commitment that comes with it. Yoga to me is a meditation in action, it helps me breathe and flow through life and be present to experience life as it is. My practice is one of the only times during the day when I am completely attuned to the present moment. I move with power, strength and intention- I allow my body to lead and flow naturally and gracefully. I rest at the end of my practice and I feel more relaxed, focused, productive, positive and nicer to my environment.
My practice has changed over the years but I can honestly say that now, even after having 2 kids, I feel healthier and stronger than ever before. I love my journey, one step at a time. It teaches me so much every day.
